The 2016 EU referendum selected current endorsement of Leave as a slogan; it did not select a leave design — shown when none of the Commons' eight indicative options on 27 March 2019 won a majority. Ireland's 2018 abortion referendum selected a constitutional permission plus a General Scheme published two months earlier. New Zealand's 1992 electoral referendum ranked the replacement systems before a binding run-off.
